hand-embroidered Tallulah dress 3t/4t

This dress is sewn from a soft cotton,  hand-embroidered, vintage pillowcase.  The buttons are also from the 1940's.  The flowers on this dress were stitched with incredible detail.

I have sewn the dresses in the same style as little girls wore in the mid-century: with two wide straps that cover the shoulders and a full A-line through the chest and below.  This shape allows the wearer to use the garment as a comfortable tunic once she is too tall to wear it as a dress.

Size is a 3t/4t depending on how tall the child is.  Chest measures 14.5" across the front and length is 20".
